As the name suggests, Marani Kiria presents a distinguished and diverse collection of wines. We are passionate preserve and educate wine lovers about the historic varietals of Georgia.
Marani Kiria is much more than business as we are focused on the sustainable growth coupled with a hands-on wine experience. Our vineyard is a wonderful example of sustainable agriculture.
Marani Kiria wines are made to showcase the complexity of flavor, diversity of terroir, and distinct characteristics of Georgia’s appellations and wine regions.
Our winemaking process elegantly focuses on blending to navigate the exceptional depths and complexity of taste striving to achieve elegant aromas.

Our grapes
Marani Kiria wines are made from over fifteen appellations currently produced in Georgia. We have forty different grape varieties from micro-zones and traditionally named after the location in which they are produced.

Our corks
Marani Kiria is using natural corks through manual hand sorting selection. Natural cork is the only sealing material which allows wine to “live” and mature in the bottle over extended time. We are using natural cork stoppers as they allow oxygen to interact with wine for proper ageing, and are best suited for wines purchased with the intent to age.

Our barrels
Marani Kiria wines can be barrel fermented in oak or placed in oak after fermentation for a period of ageing or maturation. Our wines matured in oak receives more oak flavours and properties than wine fermented in oak because yeast cells present in fermentation interact with and „latch on“ to oak components.

Our aging method
The length of time a wine spends in the barrel is dependent on the varietal and finished style the winemaker desires. The majority of oak flavouring is imparted in the first few months the wine is in contact with oak, while longer-term exposure adds light barrel aeration, which helps precipitate phenolic compounds and quickens the ageing process.
